About Our School

Aster Montessori School provides early childhood education using the Montessori method. The basic premise of this method is that children are uniquely intelligent and learn naturally if placed in a well-prepared, stimulating environment under the guidance of experienced teachers.

Physical Development

Our indoor and outdoor play focus on developing both fine and gross motor skills, because early childhood is the ideal time for acquiring and practicing fundamental movement abilities.

Social Development

Under the guidance of our American Montessori Society (AMS) certified teachers, our mixed age classrooms provide the ideal setting for children to both model and learn from their peers.

Emotional Development

Our curriculum promotes emotional development by supporting your child’s imaginative and empathetic learning.

Intellectual Development

The pinnacle of our program is our educational atmosphere. We provide a peaceful, organized atmosphere so your child will be able to realize the depth of their learning abilities.

School Environment

The environment inside our school is relaxed but orderly. We have brightly lit, pleasant classrooms with ample opportunities in which children can explore, discover, take lessons, and select their own work under the guidance of a trained Montessori teacher.

We believe in treating children and parents with genuine respect and kindness, fostering a culture of polite behavior. Our classrooms have a diverse age range and allow every child to learn at their own pace, whether individually or with peers. This approach also allows older children to act as mentors and leaders to younger ones while the younger ones can learn from their seniors.

Curriculum

Our Montessori method-based curriculum includes Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Science, and Cultural Studies. The extra-curricular activities include Music, Spanish, Mandarin, Physical Education, Yoga, Gardening, and more. We emphasize whole-child development that uniquely focuses on each child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
