Aster Montessori Summer 2026

Camp One-Jungle Music (June 22-26)

At this camp, students will participate in a variety of engaging music activities as they journey through the jungle. They will encounter various creatures, both large and small, that produce harmonious high and low sounds. Fun animal crafts will help them remember the unique animals they met and their creative musical abilities. Children will have the opportunity to explore different instruments, especially focusing on drumming to the rhythm of the jungle beats or whistling along with the sounds of various creatures

Camp Two-Bug Bonanza Camp (July 6-10)

This week, we’re diving into the incredible world of insects! From jumping grasshoppers to speedy cockroaches to colorful ladybugs, we’ll explore all kinds of amazing six-legged arthropods. We’ll discover how they live, what they eat, how they grow, and why they’re so important to our world. By the end of the week, you might just have a bug expert living in your house!

Camp Three-All Stars Action Camp! (July 13-17)

Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a week full of action and fun! Each day, campers will hit the field for an exciting soccer session with a coach from Soccer Stars of East King County. They’ll practice skills, build coordination, strengthen gross motor development, and burn off that endless energy—all while growing confidence and teamwork skills! But the fun doesn’t stop there! Back in the classroom, it’s game time! 🎲 From classic board games to high-energy group challenges, campers will laugh, strategize, cooperate, and compete in a week packed with playful learning and friendship-building.

Camp Four-Little Leapers (Gymnastics) & Little Makers (July 20-24)

Get ready for a week of movement and creativity! Each day, campers will jump, roll, and tumble with Jet’s Gymnastics Express (Tumble Gym at HC) in a fun, positive, and non-competitive environment. They’ll learn basic gymnastics and tumbling skills while building coordination, balance, and strong motor skills. Most importantly, they’ll grow confidence and develop a strong, positive self-image as they master exciting new moves!

Back in the classroom, it’s time to get crafty!  Campers will explore the art of sewing through hands-on projects like button sewing, pillow making, loom knitting, and more. With every stitch, they’ll build patience, creativity, and pride in their handmade creations.

Camp Five-Creative Cooking (July 27-31) (not at Issaquah Highlands)

Aprons on, it’s time to get cooking! This week, campers will step into the kitchen and become junior chefs as they create delicious treats each day. From sweet surprises to savory snacks, they’ll roll up their sleeves and be part of every step of the process. Campers will practice real-life kitchen skills like peeling, grating, cutting, mixing, and cleaning up, all while building confidence and independence. There’s nothing more exciting than making your own food… except maybe getting to eat it afterward!

Camp Six-Build, Play, Invent Camp (Aug. 3-7)

Hard hats on! it’s time to build big! This week, campers will become architects, engineers, and master builders as they design, stack, connect, and create with Legos, blocks, and a variety of construction materials.

Each day brings a new building challenge to spark creativity and stretch their thinking. Can you build the tallest tower? The strongest bridge? The coolest invention?

As they plan, test, rebuild, and improve their designs, campers will strengthen problem-solving skills, teamwork, and imagination, all while having tons of hands-on fun.

Camp Seven-Under the Sea Art Adventure (Aug. 10-14)

Dive deep into a world of color, creativity, and ocean adventure! This week, campers will explore the vivid colors, fascinating creatures, and magical mysteries of the sea as inspiration for all kinds of amazing art.

From painting shimmering fish to drawing swirling waves and creating under-the-sea masterpieces, the creative juices will be flowing nonstop! Get ready to make a splash with your imagination and bring the ocean to life on paper, canvas, and beyond.

Camp Eight-Wonders of Water Science (Aug 17-21)

Get ready to dive into a week of watery wonders! This camp is packed with hands-on science experiments and mind-blowing demonstrations, all centered around the amazing world of water.

Campers will become junior scientists, donning lab coats and safety glasses as they explore questions like: What can hold water? Why do some objects sink while others float? What dissolves and what doesn’t?

From fizzy experiments to floating creations, curiosity will flow nonstop as kids make cool discoveries, learn how the world works, and have a splash of scientific fun along the way!
